In 2011, Lanre Ogunya embarked on his professional journey as a web developer at Silverbird Group. Over time, he rose to the position of Head of Interactive and New Media, playing a pivotal role in the company’s numerous achievements.

In 2016, Lanre Ogunya left Silverbird Group to establish his own company, Broadshift Technologies Limited, which boasts a range of innovative IT products. One notable product is VTpass, a FinTech platform that provides convenient bill payment solutions to over one million customers and has attracted a network of more than 10,000 terminal agents. By doing so, VTpass has generated employment opportunities, increased income for agents, and contributed to financial inclusion in Nigeria. In just seven years, Lanre Ogunya has cultivated a responsive and market-driven organisational system that prioritizes understanding and surpassing customer expectations, enhancing service quality, and delivering outstanding results.

Lanre Ogunya’s commitment to the training and development of young people led him to establish Learn2code, a youth empowerment initiative that offers free IT skills training. Through this platform, over 45 youths have been equipped with valuable skills.

His expertise encompasses product development, operational analysis, strategic partnerships, market insights, budgeting, decision-making, and effective people management.

When he’s not immersed in his business or spearheading the creation of innovative tech products, Lanre Ogunya enjoys spending time with friends, engaging in activities such as playing tennis and other indoor games.
